| General Conditions: | * Effective for all new projects from 01-Jan-2012 * Forskningsrådet för Arbetsliv och Socialvetenskap encourages compliance for all earlier projects * Applies to all projects funded totally or partly by Forskningsrådet för Arbetsliv och Socialvetenskap * De forskare som beviljas stöd från FAS måste antingen publicera resultaten i webbaserade tidskrifter som tillämpar open access, eller, efter publicering i en traditionell tidskrift, omedelbart eller senast inom sex månader arkivera artikeln i en öppet sök [Researchers must either publish in an open access online journal or deposit within an open access repository within 6 months of publication] * Om förlagets standardavtal inte tillåter parallellpublicering inom sex månader ska forskaren kräva att förlaget gör ett undantag. [If publisher does not allow deposit within 6 months, researchers must require an exception from the publisher] * Om förlaget inte accepterar bör forskaren publicera i en annan tidskrift [If publisher does not accept this exception, the researcher must choose another journal to publish in] * Endast i undantagsfall kan FAS medge en förlängning av tiden för tillgängliggörande upp till maximalt 12 månader, under förutsättning att forskaren kan uppvisa en tydlig dokumentation av vilka ansträngningar han/hon gjort för att uppfylla sexmånaderskrave [Only in exceptional cases, will FAS authorize an extension of deposit time to 12 months, provided clear documentation is provided by researcher that attempts to meet the 6 months requirement have been met] * Open access-reglerna gäller ännu så länge enbart vetenskapligt granskade texter i tidskrifter och konferensrapporter, inte monografier och bokkapitel.
